Was produced for the American market by The DeLorean Motor Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland from 1981 to 1983. This sleek angular car featured gull-wing doors and an unpainted brushed stainless steel body. It was immortalized as the DeLorean time machine in the Back to the Future movie franchise.

The Metal Earth models are amazingly detailed etched models that are fun and satisfying to assemble. Each model starts out as 4 inch square metal sheets where you pop out the pieces and follow the included directions to assemble your model.

  • NO GLUE OR SOLDER NEEDED – Parts can be easily clipped from the metal sheets. Tweezers are the recommended tool for bending and twisting the connection tabs; depending on the kit, a needle nose pliers might also be helpful; a tool kit is also available with all the recommended tools needed for first time modelers
